The Akatta Elite in Diaspora Foundation(AEDF) is an international organization uniting NGOs worldwide in the cause of advancing peace and global well being. AEDF helps to provide the mechanism and support needed for NGOs to connect, partner, share, inspire, and multiply their contributions to solve humanity’s basic problems. Initiated in 2020 by a handful of prominent visionaries of Akatta community living in diaspora, AEDF has quickly become one of the premier bodies as an NGO foundation that are committed to the ideals of bringing peace, unity, justice, and well being for all humanity.

AEDF provide basic education and create educational awareness in the community. AEDF contribute and build up stability in the community were all the people can have access to good education, good roads, market, health care and electricity supply and other basic infrastructural projects in the community. AEDF contribute towards the community developmental projects, maintenance, sustainability and productivity of livestock, agriculture and forestry sectors. AEDF mediate the differences among individuals and develop spirit of common understanding, interest and sacrifice and participate collectively in community programs and also play the role of mediator between people and government.
